Boy in the Box: Joseph Augustus Zarelli

He was found on the side of Susquehanna Road in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. No one claimed his body, and although his fingerprints were taken, he was unidentified for half a century.

 

Investigators comb the “body dump” secondary crime scene.

 

He was found in an area known for rabbit hunting and traps; he was found by rabbit hunters.
